. the newark star ledger in new jersey reporting that governor chris christie is going to ask the federal government to reimburse the state for 100% of the cost of rebuilding from superstorm sandy. christie heads to washington on thursday to meet with federal officials. you know, parts of the new jersey coastline, complete devastated by this powerful storm. you know, governor christie estimates that sandy caused upwards of $20 billion of damages. >>> and the atlanta journal-constitution with more information about dozens of children and adults that were sickened by carbon monoxide poisoning at the local school there. at least 49 people were sent to the hospital yesterday. take a look at this. fire officials believe the heating system failed there. finch elementary had no carbon monoxide detectors, either. which, i guess, they're not required in georgia. and many parents complained they were left in the lurch because of poor communication. soledad o'brien will talk to a student, a parent and also a school official. so we'll get lots of sides there. >> also coming up, amazement and dismay.
